well, i know a company who kept in a bug which made people pay for their chars if they were not playing as gold members (with fees) for 1 whole month (yes, lots of people had to pay extra with their fees to play again), so glad Anet does something, if its the duping

if its the duping, i hope they have a solution which wont be exploited

maybe offtopic, but in some pokemon games, you could copy your pokemon, which was funny and gamebreaking, lol..... at least didnt harm anyone else.... unless you wanted to have a normal battle with the people who did that

anyway, i'm sure Anet knows what they do

If they roll-back and I dont have the ecto's i traded for my Diamonds i will be raging...done some good deals to get enough for obsi armor and down want to go through it again...

A rollback is when they reset the entire game to the state it was in at a previous time. If they roll back, I feel really sorry for those guys who were running A Time For Heroes for 20+ hours yesterday as the ZM.

I had 99.6% Tyrian Cartographer just before disconnect. A rollback is going to be a pain.....

Rollback will be hard to figure cuz when did the duping start? We found out about last night thanks to spuns most awesome thread ever. So they would at least have to go back to yesterday. I traded very little during that time, but did do some small trades. Oh well. I do have screens of folks who offered to sell me ded pandas. Going to add them to my alts and check for bans.

It has been going on for weeks and the winner so far of who stands to lose the most is Ferreos who traded his kanaxi away for duped items.

They didn't take servers down last time they just banned accounts that had the items not too far from origin. The last roll back was a trader bug years ago and ironically the first trader reset they didn't roll back. I would take a guess they don't know how to fix this exploit as to why the servers went down with no warning to try and contain the damage. It is a bit late though this has gone on for a few weeks.
